throttle cable snapped
my throttle cable snap (the pull one ) just at the start where it's attached to the throttle ...
the combination of the renthal enduro high bar and 25MM risers probably caused the problem ... the cable is very short and if I move the handle for only a cm the cable is already way to short on a full turn left of right (gas get's stuck) a while ago I already removed the tank to re-route the cables a little bit different , without this it was impossible to have the risers fitted ... today I removed the tank again to prepare for the new cable coming in next week , and just wanted to show you guys some pics on the routing , since many people have had question's/problems with the cable and risers/handlebar combo |

Good pics and useful info, but it all still looks a bit tight IMHO.

cutting a cm of each side of the handlebar would do the trick , but I like the handlebar like it's now ... , so that's no option either a longer cable would completely do the trick , but haven't found a company yet to do it ..., I have the broken cable as a reference now , so maybe I can take this to somebody so they can have a look at making just one like it but let's say 10 cm longer |
