Cush Drive Rubbers - WARRANTY

Just spoken to my local Yam' dealer and they will request new cush drive rubbers to Yamaha UK under warranty. 2 years old in a couple of months, so I thought I'd try my luck now..

Will report back..

I doubt they'll quibble, I think a fair proportion of the Ten' owners on here had them done at least once.

I think Tripletom had about three sets from Yamaha, although I think they may have said "you're not having any more" after the last set .

Mine were done under warranty at about 14k, and I've since replaced them again with pattern ones from Wemoto - which seem to be holding up pretty well so far, although it's too early to say really whether they are better or worse than the OE ones.

19.15 for a set of four. They're 8.61 each from Yamaha (( here) which is 34.44 the set.

Ask again in nine months or so and I'll tell you how they've lasted.

Just over 5k miles and I padded them with inner tubes by 2k..

Collected a new set yesterday under warranty, no quibble.

They have asked for the old ones back when I do change them over and I'll be sure to do this as perhaps Yamamhs will find a slightly less soft cheese to make them from!!
