Mental fuel gauge

Just a question is it just my 10 or are all the gauges crazy it went 65432for 10 miles then 3 then 1 then 2 then 1 i filled up @ 200 miles with 15.45 litres......
I tend to go on trip metre so no real problem just curious

That's bit is about normal. The Z's fuel gauge is very pessimistic.

Question sort of....

I've found the gauge on mine goes back up one bar on a long uphill climb & also after stopping and restarting the engine - guess it has something to do with the position of the sender unit ?
Another thing i noticed is on a steady run, the gauge stays on full bars for at least 100 miles, then drops rapidly; doing the same mileage in varied conditions the gauge is much more 'progressive'.
Still, it livens up a boring journey trying to push the miles before it drops a bar

Tends to drop off quite quickly when it does move from full - otherwise OK.

Yours sounds suspect..
