How much oil does your tenere eat, at what mileage and in what conditions?

I'm running at 500ml - 1000ml / 1000km depending on riding style and load at 30k km... dunno if good or bad - mechanic that opened the motor about 1 month ago ensured me that everything is fine inside and according to service manual specs...

I was driven 450 kilometres in full throttle and Tenere drank 200 ml of oil.
On hard trail riding it will eat 200ml on 500 kilometres, otherwise when riding quite nice, she does not drink it.

Almost reached 30.000km and no oil consumption at all... and I rode it in pretty tough conditions.
.5-1l I think is pretty much.
Maybe is something else not extra wear on the cylinder.

That also sounds quite a lot to me too! My Z has done about 26k Km and uses nothing (other that a tiny amount blown into beather hose and only on a long/fast motorway run). Even my 45 year old BSA doesn't drink that much!

Between 3000km oil changes mine uses nothing measurable yet.

15w50, the oil collected in the tube attached to the breather is not that much... maybe 20-30ml, no smoke on cold engine, no smoke on hot engine, no oil splashes on the exhaust but it just disappears...

At 66.000km no oil consumption, run Castrol 10w40. Oil changes, with oilfilter, every 10.000km as stated in the manual. Always an extra oilchange before hybernation.

At 45.000 km no oil consumption at all, run Mobil Extra 4T 10w40. Oil changes every 5000 km, oilfilter changed every 10000 km. Unifilter (foam filter).
