Chain and sprocket replacements

Hello all
I am after a bit of advice....
I need to change my chain and sprockets having done 12k on my ten.
Unfortunately I do not have a chain splitter, is it a difficult job to strip out the swinging arm to replace the chain.
Or would I be better to go out and buy a splitter
Thanks

A chain splitter, yesterday...

You're still going to need a riveter anyway. Or a couple of hammers of course.

Just get yourself a chain splitter and riveter, it's easier, faster and in the long run cheaper.

I just changed my bikes chain and sprockets and it's a very easy job with the right tools.

+1

Get all your motorcycle mates to chip in on buying this tool & you all can save in the long run.

Just don't fit a spring clip split link when you put the new chain on. The guide rollers will eat the clip.
Rivet link is a must.
