That was fun.

Inspired by Kev's new SMR, I took the 990SMT for a testride.
Wanted a go on the SMR but they didn't have a demo bike.

All in all very nice.
Not quite the Blap I'm used to, maybe some aftermarket cans could liven it up abit.
It definately goes when you ask it to
Knowing how much difference decent airfilters and some tuning does to the XT, I'm sure modding could be fun.
Brakes were well tested at a red light and speed camera. Yep, they work.
Clutch, even tho was hydrolic felt abit heavier than the XT's with clutch mod.
No speed wobble like my XT LOL.
..And it remains steady at low speeds.

Well today my time caculator said 1 bikeshop hour = 2 Fijjitthours.
See what happens in a year or so. Is definately top of the next bike list.

Maybe it's just 'cos it wasn't my bike, but it was brill to get back on me XT for the ride back from the shop
Although it made me wonder if the XT's brakes need bleeding. tee hee.
