EBC Rear Rotor Any Good?

Fran, or anyone else... I need a new rear disc/rotor and I see that we get 15% off EBC... has anyone got one fitted and are they any good? Surely better than getting a 2nd hand one off ebay for the same price as EBC. Comes in at only 52.02 inc discount, delivered? That seems excellent value to be honest.

The rotors are superb, I would not recommend their pads though, they make an irritating buzzzing noise once fitted, even using copper slip. I did my XT and just recently a CBR and both EBC pad sets buzz.

Great rotor, poor pads.

I have always used the Red EBC pads and never had an issue with noise. I've copper greased them the once and left it so until they worn out. Perhaps the wet humid UK weather works better with these than in hot Turkey climates?

My EBC rear rotor is egg shaped. Only slightly, but enough to be faulty.
Full refund on it's way from Yam shop.

Wanted original Yamaha, but was told I'd have to wait over a month?
So opted for EBC. I needed a new one.

Not impressed from the start, grabby and jerky and dangerous.
Accepted, not all will be like that, it is definitely faulty.

So how do they make an oval rotor, lol.

Shyt brakes, and tyres I don't like. Both are on order. Hurry up.

recently i got these off ebay:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/190952355457?...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

... less than 40,-€ (plus shipping) for rotor and Kevlar pads.
Happy with the result!
