Airhawk seats

Going to buy one to as to stop numb bum after an hour in the saddle....

Been on the website and the super Ten is listed - recommends the small pillion turned sideways! Must be the same for the 660??
I'm thinking of getting a more regular shape so it can be used on any future bikes. Anyone got one and what size do you have?

Thanks

Or try these, less expensive and probably the same effect:

Worth a try?

I've got the Medium Cruiser and used it on a few bikes, not had it on the Tenere yet though. Not cheap, but they definitely work. Did 650 miles home in one day from France, and could easily have done another 100 if I'd had to. Without the Airhawk, my arse was totally numb at 300 miles on the same bike.

I've the same one as Minky, expensive, but you'll only buy it once, then it moves with you from Bike to Bike.

I covered 8000+ miles with mine, on the Ten in 19 days back in 2008. The longest single ride was 1500 or so miles in 30 odd hours (never again). You can just ride day after day after day.

Thanks for all the replies, most useful

Longest stretch I've done in one hit was coming back from the Millau viaduct last summer on my Multistrada which wasn't a problem. Longest on the Ten was 1.5 hrs which gave me a dead a**e

Been on the eblag and got a Medium cruiser (14x 14) for a good price - need to source some straps though as it hasn't got any. Just need to sort the screen now

Cheers

My Wife uses the medium square shaped airhawk on the rear when we are riding two-up, and I use it sometimes for solo rides of more than one day. The longest trip thus far on the Ten was Paris to the Arctic Circle and back - 7,000km over 21 days last summer. For my significant other it was a bum saver and certainly worth the investment for the comfort. I purchased it from the European distributor in Sweden via direct money transfer. No problems.

Just got my Airhawk seat. Cannot wait to try it as i did a tour around North devon and back to Corwall yesterday. 350 miles and my backside was shot to pieces. Shame i am gone away for 3 weeks work in N.I. again. No chance to try it out properly.
One issue was a letter from UK customs. They wanted 27.01 before releasing the parcel. Arguing the point was no option. Had to pay up. Still the seat was a lot cheaper than buying one in the UK or even second hand on Ebay.
Highly recommend Ghost Motorcycle Parts and Accessories in Florida. Howard is the man.
7 days from custom release to local sorting office, not even to the door. That is shocking in 2011!!!

Happy!

Still loving my airhawk, went for the medium cruiser and it fits well. The straps seemed a little lightweight so bought a length of 20mm velcro off ebay for a quid, did the trick.
I leave it on when I'm trail riding but stand up when off road so it's not really a consideration.
Just need to sort the turbulence now.....
