Recommended bar risers?

I'm sure many on here have added riser kits to their bars being 6'1" I've come to the decision that the stock bars are just a bit too low for me when I'm stood up.

Does anyone have a recommendation as to make / suppliers and advice on how high is sensible before you have to fiddle with the cables.

Cheers as always.

i go the mand p bar risers

flat side 3inch rise ...they fit easy you will need a longer 10ml bolt
i just used allthread with a nylock nut to bolt em on

i wouldnt like to go to the 4inch as the throttle cable may snag

strangly im 6ft 1 too ..i anngles the bars forward slightly too and they are hugely better i can stand up now without bending me knees too much

i got them from mand p

3 in 7/8ths flat

I used SWMotech 25mm risers with original (made of cheese) handlebar on my first Tenere. Fits perfectly and no extra parts needed.

Now on my second Tenere I use Renthal RC High Fatbar with Protaper bar-clamp adapter wich is a much better solution IMHO but a lot pricier. The accelerator cables are a little on the short side but nothing dangerous.

Cheers,

Ionut

Ditto SW Motech 30mm riser, as much as you can go without changing/extending cables!

Any thoughts on SW Motech stockists? and are these spacer-style generic risers or whole new risers that bolt directly to the forks like the M&P ones Minkyhead's shown?
