Thanx

Possibly, anyone confirm? got a great deal on the grips incidentally, ordered 24.99 dr bike ones as they look just like my oxford ones on the 955 sprint and the company sent me much more expensive oxford hot grips by mistake. Even says Dr bike 24.99 on the invoice. Oh how I laughed

The general consensus on this little connector is that it is for a GPS (considering it's location close to the GPS mount). It is switched and I think someone traced out which circuit it is on.

Cheers, I will follow it back and see what fuse rating in in the circuit and what, if anything else is on there as the grips draw 4 amps.

hi, the connector is part of the sidelight circuit, it is covered with a 10 amp fuse which is way more than the lights require and for that reason i believe it is an ignition controlled aux power source.

my hot grips and ciggy style gps/phone charger have been connected via a 7.5 fuse to the connector since i got the bike 26 months and 27,000 miles ago and have worked fine with no problems
