Touratech bash plate toolbox lid mod

After two attempts at different methods of making the toolbox lid quick release (to get round the design oversight that means it uselessly only opens half way due to the exhaust headers), I've finally got somewhere which doesn't involve pins, clips or anything to get lost! No more skinned knuckles and I can get all the stuff I need in and out much more quickly!

Length of stainless M6 threaded rod, two stainless nyloc nuts, cut notches at the top of the lid hinge plates either side and add some pvc sleeving to tidy things up...

Looks good. Might even be worth having a look at mine and refitting it.
