Cheap low fender?

Hi everybody!

Since I'm going to use my tenere a bit more offroad this year compared to last year I've been checking the prices of some parts that are in danger of breaking if you drop the bike.

And I've found the original front fender a bit too expensive to wreck (the price in Sweden equals to about 140-150€). Then I thought a high fender would be nice (there are lots of models and they're way cheaper) but I also like the low fender look.

Is there a cheaper low fender alternative?

Cheers
Erik

PS.
After a quick photoshop-session I end up with this:

Still need a replacement for the low fender so I don't break it.
140 is about 5 times what I paid for my new silencer

Acerbis do (or certainly used to do) a 'universal' low front fender, for about 30 as I recall...

I had one on my XR650R rally bike:

You might have to jiggle a bit (with spacers etc.) to get it to fit the existing Tenere fork brackets, although it also comes with clamps to fit around conventional forks that don't have cast brackets like the Tenere does...

They come in black or white (and can be painted), and you can also cut it down a bit if you want to adjust the shape (I shortened the back overhang after the rally):

Thansk JMo.
I'll definitely look into the Acerbis alternative!
Hopefully my local dealer is able to acquire Acerbis-parts
