Weak spark, bike not starting
Hi guys, I just came back from Germany and it was sometimes very cold, temperatures going below -10
The problem is, bike keeps failing to start, The spark seems really weak and even after changing the battery and Spark plug the problem still exists. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you |

Ok guys, got the spark ok. But still no luck to fire it up.
At the dealers at the moment. But they don't have a clue either |

Had exactly the same problem with my r before xmas.
Several days of riding in bitterly cold freezing fog and extreme cold and general damp murkiness. The solution; (preferably somewhere warm and dry) take your tank off to reveal the bulk of the loom and then work your way through takeing every single plug you can find apart and spray inside with wd 40 or similar to get out any moisture before reconnecting. Do the same with all the plugs to the relays etc behind your side panels as well. She'll run sweet as a nut then I'm sure.

Check your coil. A reasonably common issue with UK (read: "damp") Pegasos (same motor).
