Hi All,

Just wanted to update you on some recent mods to my XT660Z. Firstly replaced the stock form airfilter with a DNA airfilter. I had also rec'd the stage 2 DNA ring, but without Kev's Fuel Mod, I was not going to install it due to running too lean.

With only the airfilter installed we went to Craigs Hut and took all the 4wd tracks. About 350Km road and 100 dirt. Engine was much nicer to ride. Seemed to have more torque and slightly higher revs but not being a techy, it just felt nicer to ride.

When I finally rec'd Kev's Fuel Mod, installed in 30 minutes with the DNA stage 2 ring and went for a ride this morning. Oh My what a difference. Revs higher and much freerer. The engine was good but now it is SOOO much better.

Highly recommend this mod.

i'm trying to fit mine now - before it gets dark in 30 in time. all fitted but the temp reading does not show up on the dash like kev say ie hold down select and reset then turn on key. i keep hold of them and diag does not show up. only thing happens is the clock starts adjusting. any help?

That only works for R/X, you need the Yamaha diagnostic tool to check temp on the Z.

Ive got the same with Leo,s on my Ten must admit after fitting all this stuff the kev mod made the bike much smoother
but its no faster than my mates Std one, maybe a touch but not much, sounds much better thats for sure
