I know I'm very lucky! The z was a treat really, but I liked it so much I wasn't using my FZ1. So I did a deal and with the x being an 09 I got a good deal.... The x is different enough from the z to give me the best of both worlds... Although I thought the x would help me preserve my licence longer than my FZ1..... But so far I've been riding like a **** everywhere!!! It's lots of fun, but it's going to take a while to master it's so different from anything else I've ridden.

Mech.. nice bike.. most guys ye`l see ads like,, changing to trail bike or super moto as I want to keep my licence... hey a`l tell ye this fur free... watch out.. ye`l lose yer licence quicker wi this than yer road bike,, cause these bike s.... ye jist want tae push it tae the limit.. where it may be wheelies.. or jist like a ****.... i usualy rid elike a ****... or am wheelyimg.. one o the two....

That'll be two of us then! I love wheelies and am ok on road bikes, but the different gearing on the xts means lower speed, and with less power shorter, so I'll need to improve my balance point control and start using the gearbox, inbetween riding like a ****! I'll post a back to back comparison soon....

Very very nice indeed! Like to hear your opinions on the pros/cons of the two bikes once you've gotten used to the X a bit Mech.

Awesome setup! "...with prices as they are now...". That'd be $27,000 worth of kit in Australia. US/UK folks are so lucky because they're not financially punished for owning multiple toys.
