Sprocket size question.

Hi all...

Does anybody know/has anybody tried a 14/47 set up on a 660Z.If so,did you have to add any extra links to the chain.

Cheers,
Andy.

I know for sure a 48 doesn't fit with the standard chain and a 14.

I would imagine even with a 47 an extra link would be needed.

A buddy of mine rides with -1 / +2 and didn't mentioned anything about having issues with the chain due to that. OTOH he didn't changed the chain with the sprockets ( had something like 4k on it so it might have been a bit looser than a new one ).

When ever your putting on a new sprocket and chain, the rear spindle is pushed right the way forward and then pulled about a wee bit so you should have enought slack enough if your chain sprockets are still new.
