How much is a new battery

Hi Guys just feelin the water the now.. how much will it cost fur a new Bat fur ma 660R.. an has anyone any good links to [places..... wemotop wants 57 quid..is this high or about right.........cant afford 57 quid

The problem with sourcing batteries off the web is

a) the weight for postage
b) the H&S rules for sending acid through the post.

Gell batteries are different (insofar as posting goes) but they are a little more expensive - so they get you either way.

First of all I'd be trying the local dealers, Hein Gerricke or even Halfords - it's one of them occasions where you can get a better deal locally.

There are some great deals on ebay from time to time for the exact original MF one. But if you go to a dealer you'll get ripped off, you are better off getting off ebay cause a Yamaha dealer will want around �67 plus vat

I think I paid �40 for one from an independant bike shop, so it seems the links that Capt gave are the best bet, wont find one cheaper I reckon!

a wis jist gonna say there.. ma pal told me of a site.... http://www.countybatteryservices.co.uk/index.php?notify[]=47760&amp;action=notify �25. 32 posted. cheers andy.. its now on order,, but if kev is reading this dinnae be thinkin ave ignored ye,,, a bike can always use a guid battery...... a have mines charging the now,,, so al see how that fairs... so if the batterry holds its charge... does that say ma alternators goosed,???? as the BATTERY FAULT..... ASK KEV SECTION
