They are sold seperately, but to my knowledge the engine guards are out of production because of all of the problems with cracking. I would personally recommend Adventure-spec for their engine guard / bash plate combination which I had on my Ten before it was stolen. I now have a new Ten and will definately be getting one again once I have funds.

Hi,
Picked up a new ten from Colin Appleyards in Leeds the other week and went straight round to Adventure-spec's place. The bash plate and bars combination is the dog's dooodaaahhhhs - Well made and looks good

Nice one Fiddich, as you say they are an excellent bit of kit, very durable and look go . The main point is that they fully protect the waterpump, which was my main concern as well as having very sturdy mountings. I know from my previous experience with the last one that they can take some quite severe abuse.!

...........and do you know that if you want to stretch your legs for a few mins you can rest your feet on them and pretend to be a feet forward H****y rider

The Adventure Spec one gets the thumbs up from me aswell. Think it works out cheaper than buying a bash plate and bars seperately.

Like you the water pump was a concern - will try the feet forward next time I'm out. I made up my own front rubber mud flap and between that and the bash plate it keeps the crap off the engine/horn/rectifier mounting and exhaust.
Was speaking to Chris at Adventure-spec. I believe they are 'rebranding' at the moment - not sure what changes this will make!
