Changing wheels

Is it hard to change wheels on an xtx from spoked excels to a standard 3spoke motorbike wheels??just a tought

hi, should'nt be a big deal, a few things need to be checked out, the width of the hub is one, the bearing sizes,distance between disc and sprocket. have you access to a machinest or lathe etc?.most likely essential!

a few years ago i modded a set of rg 250 3 spoke rims into my xr 400 for hooning around the roads. now i've just finished putting ktm rally wheels into my tenere, infact i much perfer fitting the rally wheels in than the standard yam ones as my bushions stay put in the bearings, though i've had to fabricate a bracket carrier for the caliper.

it works a charm, more later stoic

Sounds complicated dude theres nobody that really does fabrication work round my area i was hoping all it would need was spacers maybe,damn it lol

was thinkn about a set of ktm duke wheels there kind of similar to whats on the blue xt660x in the gallery
