CCC Monster Embargo On
I've been reading some of the nightmares that people have been having with CCC. Imagine being a newbie and getting all this hassle when all you want is some decent cans. It's such a shame that the Original Simon sold up, sadly it's never been the same since. Glad I got mine years ago.
So the idea behind this thread is to help anyone avoid buying new cans from The Carbon Can Co. (Fran delete this thread if it's inappropriate but thought it would be a good idea) Look they may be cheaper than some others but you get what you pay for. So if you're thinking of getting some new cans then go to MTC http://www.xt660.com/site/node/333 don't forget to mention you're form the XT660.com forum. So keep adding comments to this thread to keep it going for a while. We may say a few poor souls from the big bad CCC monster.

Thats a great idea Badga...I only saw the bad comments after a bit of digging in the forum.
I think those Powertech Cans are going to be good, looking forward to seeing them. So, stay out of hassle, and look elsewhere for cans! |

When I joined the Forum I was lucky enough to get a lot of help from the Capt. who pointed me to CCC with good discount to boot. When I wanted some extra bits the old CCC used to send them FOC ... and next day usually, he wouldn't even accept any money for extra straps as his attitude was to support his customers rather than lose them, now that's a sign of a professional business man...
Good Luck with the MTCs no worries there, post some pics for us all to have a butchers...
