Anyone fit Bridgestone BT023 on an XT660X?
I'm about to change the Maxxis Supermotard front and Pirelli Diablo Rosso rear tyres that have been on my 2005 XTX for the last 3500 miles. I mainly use the bike for commuting (45 miles/day) and for scratching about the back roads.
I did a 500 mile round trip last saturday and when I got home I noticed the back tyre had loads of little horizontal cuts in it, suggesting the wheelies that *might* have happened at several traffic lights caused the early death of my back tyre. Anyhew, I've ordered a pair of BT023's which are the latest Sports/Touring tyre from Bridgestone and I wonder if anyone has anything good/bad to say before I take the plunge and fit them. Thanks buddies! 'cptr

I guess I know the answer to this question then...
I fitted a pair of them today and will get them scrubbed in tomorrow. What do you think of how they look?

Looks good to me, be interested in how you find them and what the rear tyre life is like - as much as I love the Distanzia's on mine they just don't last.

Single cylinder bikes driven hard are able to destroy a tyre so much quicker than a twin or four. I left home with a good tyre on a high speed cross country run and arrived back 500 miles later with canvas showing! I'll be watching the wear carefully.
