Bike Lift / paddock stands............

Need something for the Tenere to lift the back wheel off the ground, to take back wheel off what are you guys using?

Was thinking of something like this

I have one of those, well similar, I got mine from Machine Mart.

There are many ways to get the back wheel up;

Centre Stand,
Box under the bash plate (the OE ABS one are much stronger than you think - I've jumped up and down on mine and it just laughs at me!)
Axle stand under one side of the swing arm,
Jack,

It's really only limited by your imagination.

One thing to point out, using these type of lifts is fine, but the bike isn't all that stable when it's up there. I would say the best, and safest method is a centre stand.

I have the same, they're pretty stable if you use some ratchet straps to hold the bike in place. Failing that, a jack, or axle stand under a footrest will do.

Like GULG said centre stand is your best option, you can't carry a bike lift with you if you want to fix a puncture on the trail/road

That's a very good point! So any recommendations for a centre stand?

I've had the Yamaha centre stand put on the bike and it does the job very well for all those rear access needs
