Ok, in line with my hand guard thread below, I think I'm about to take a leap of faith to pick up a set of touratech GD handguards for the XT. Now I know these fit the tenere, so does anyone know if there are any major differences in the bars or controls between the two models?

Touratech themselves couldn't confirm, even though the have them listed under the XT660 X and R.

I guess if it all goes pear shaped, there is always Ebay!
