Angry Multi-function display

Hi Guys, have posted this request for help in the Ask Kev section, but think it should be here, doe!
The multi-function display on my Z has failed. With the ignition on it sounds as though its going through its pre flight check, but with no display. The bike starts and rides ok,but no visual indicators.
Have taken back up fuse out (no 7 for the pod),turned ignition on and display lights up,fuse back in, and nothing.. Could do with some tech help.
Appreciation in advance.. Turnips.

.
I'd have thought you were correct in the first instance in the Ask Kev section for some direction to be honest.
Hope you get this sorted easily.

Have you been to the dealer?
He might help you without charging for it (at least thats what my dealer would do)

Just taken Instrument pod out,and warmed it over c/htg radiator for five mins.Reinstalled and hey presto, working again.
It has been subject to a lot of misting, I know this a common fault, but is there a fix for this ??. Thanks Kev for your suggestion.

Good Q. I aksed my dealer about steaming up in the instruments, and they said it wasn't a sealed unit and I should expect it to do that (sounds strange to me)
