Cheap footpegs from eBay

In case anyone's interested in more suitable footpegs, I've just received these through the post:

http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260562998402&ssPageNam e=ADME:L:OU:FR:1123

In case this link no longer works they are listed as 90-05 YZ80 125 250 500 WR 200 500 and the seller is called dormousesleep. The pegs cost me 20.99 Aussie dollars (which works out at 14.30 Euros here in France) including postage. Can't be bad! They were sent from China. I had second thoughts about the 'Made In China' tag but at this price I thought I'd at least try them out. They went on very easily and are a good fit. I've no idea how well they handle crashing (yet...) but they're certainly better for standing on than the standard pegs.

Cheers,

Rich

they look nice.

I bought a pair of pegs from ebay once and they broke while I was installing them... they were made of "pressed aluminium thingy" so they would have broken just by standing on them.

let us know how it's going

The OE pegs are skinny but are these actually much bigger. The listing on fleabay says 3.1 inches by 2 inches. That in my reckoning is no wider (from bike outwards) that the originals. They are deeper (front to back of bike) however. I would really like wider pegs, say 4 inches. Certainly cheap though.

Cheers

Hello, I just bought these i
http://bit.ly/1btUM31
They needed about 70mm taking off to fit in in the xt660r brackets

But they feel lovely.

Only problem is the springs don't fit. I've 'butchered' the original spring on and they work... Ish

Any idea which spring I should buy to fit to correct or should I go down the bike breakers n see which fits trail n error ?

Cheers
