Following our success with the Limpopo run few weeks ago, we reckon the only way to get rid of the overdose of adrenalin, is to do another trip.

Planned trip for Noordkaap got off to good start this morning with small gathering of some riders in Pta.
Possible date for this to happen will be 3-7 April or 21-25 June. June seems to be more popular, April holidays for most of us is planned already and it is easter lonf weekend time.

Trip will be 5 day route. Full kit and gear is needed, will see if we can get away with sleeping arrangements so that we can escape the weight of a tent and sleeping bag. Seeing that it will be winter, and there is deep sandy sections, weight is issue for most of us....but i am not affraid, i will be losing those 10 kg before then as planned.

OK, one month to go and trip is planned.
2100- 2300km for the 5 days planned.

21st June- 25th June.
Winter chill will be in the air, so winter gear is a yes.

Start off in Pta- then towards Zeerust - Severn, Upington, Prieska- Potch-Pta.
Will cover most of this on dirt, say 95% of it at least.
PM me for more detail, we are 6 riders so far, space for one more available.

Vehicle with trailer will meet up at major towns and overnight spots. Will be camping, vehicle will carry tents.

yip, backup driver/vehicle chickened out.
Our navigator had to take care of office stuff- chickened out
3 left- all dressed up and nowhere to go- so we did a day trip to get rid of frustrations

Day trip ended in crash for KTM Adventure driver- crashed out with R25 000 damage to bike

So we will plan again..
