Extended Throttle Cables for Tenere

Fitted a RENTHAL dakar high handlebars as i like the way they are wide so dont feel like push bike with the standard ones.

Problem is on nearly 3/4 lock to the right the throtle cable go quite solid.

Need extended cables?

Any one has idea fitting them form something else?

I am at point to contact venhill.co.uk aparetnly they do custom cables?

Any help will be great.

Run the standard cables behind the top triple clamp instead of in front.

do the renthals give you a nice rise over standard bars without using extra risers ? I'd like a better position for standing

Just Update if some one is intrestead.

The Dakar High Handlebars are a bit wider a sligtly taller i am a 180cm and just perfect standig up.

I have been in contact with Venhill as i mentioned earlier

I do have spare set of OEM Throttle (they arrived at last) ( 5VK-F6311-00-00 + 5VK-F6312-00-00) cables witch i will send to Wenhill they told me they do me a longer ones for 30 + postage

If any one intrested let me know i can get them to make more ore something.

That looks like will sort them out.

Will post som more info as soon as they get done

Thanks for the tip - however Venhill sent these back. The fittings on the left are theirs, mine are on the right. They say theirs are the Yamaha ones
Any suggestions?

If you get stuck my friend Tom at Foundry Motorcycle's near Chichester has professional cable extending facilities. I'm going to fit the same handlebars. ..I'll be interested to see a photo if you can post. Steve
