Scottoiler - still fantastic service!

Following from an "incident" I have written this to Scottoiler to add to their testimonials:

"Brian

Just to let you know, that yet again I am really impressed with the quality, functionality (25K miles out of my last TDM chain...and it probably could have done more!), but also of Scottoilers after sales service! Absolutely FANTASTIC! So impressed that the first accessory I bought for my new XTZ660...was a Scottoiler!

For those who aren't Brian: you need to know that when fitting it to the XT, I accidentally dropped my Scottoiler RSV (reservoir) and it landed tip first, damaging the seal, and the needle valve inside. Scottoiler asked me to post it back, and they have repaired it, and replaced the oil I lost...all free, and with a really positive attitude.

Now that may have cost Scottoiler in time, repair, stock etc. But you have a loyal customer that won't hesitate it recommending Scottoiler to everyone I meet!

(Oh and BTW, after 5 years of TDM riding in all weathers - Salty roads included, regular Scottoiler FS365 application meant that it looked like new when I sold it on...needless to say the XT has been liberally daubed in the stuff too!)

Well done Scottoiler!!

John Reeves

(please feel free to add this to testimonials - thank you for your service)"

It's a shame a few more companies don't learn from this.

This is currently my 3rd bike on the trot with a scott oiler and I wouldn't be without one. I dont need to alter my chain tension very often and dont need to clean it either. Only draw back is my back wheel chain side is usually dull with oil stuff, but hey my wheels black anyway.

I always recommend scottoiler. Their are cheeper gravity fed alternatives, but you have to faff about with topping up the reservoir more frequently or empting it if you get home with a lot in the reservoir.

The scotoiler is fitted, set and then forget about it for weeks on end. I've had 8000 miles between chain adjustments.
