Side case holder Givi PLXR363

Hi.
Has anybody managed to fit the Givi PLXR363 (or KLXR363) side case holder?
I was striving all afternoon to find some space under the tenere's tail to put that damn bolt #11 together with the screw #6
(see picture: ) so as to install the support #3 (especially the left one - as you are sitting on the bike).
I removed the tail covers but in vain.
I guess the next thing to do so as to access the specific point is to disassemble the rear fender or take down the exhaust.
Any ideas would be helpful?

If it locates through the side mounting hole where the Yamaha rails go, and you have the stock silencer, then yes, remove the silencer. Which means removing the tail section and rear light.

Yes, the screw locates through the side mounting hole on the frame.
Avo, did you remove only the fender, or you had to take out the brake light and the exhaust too? How easy was it?

Finally I managed to resolve the nuts' issue.
Here's an overview:

1.Remove the seat
2.Remove left and right assist grips
3.Remove the 2 tail covers
4.Unplug the 4 wire plugs and cut the 3 clamps of the tail wiring. (pict.1 )
5.Remove the rear fender (4 hex screws). (pict. 2 )
6.Remove the 2 muffler covers (optional)
7.Now you have all the necessary space to install the metal supports for the Givi holders. (pict 3 )
8.Install the holders just to test the 6 supports' correct alignment. (pict 4 )

Finished? Unfortunately NOT. Givi holders are touching the rear fender (and specifically the metal bracket) not letting it fit in its place.

Any ideas guys?
How about rubbing/filing a little bit off of the rear fender's metal bracket?

Looks like the same point that I used when fitting the Yam pannier rails. You have to remove the rear number plate fender thingy too...actually having a closer look I'm not sure that is the same.

I'll have to go out to the garage and take a look to refresh my brain cell...unless someone else can help first?
