Mods affect warrenty?

Just curious, but if you fit a PC and a DNA stage 2, does this void the warrenty? I've already got a set of Akra's on, but I don't want to do anything that might affect my warrenty.

No it shouldn't void the warranty. unless you are replacing forks,r engine parts or chassis modifications.

same applies to all type of bikes

So, plumbing into the wiring for the PC is OK?
Thanks for clearing that up for me.

The Power Commander is made in a way that it latches on the fuel injector cable without even cutting it and the other feed is for the battery, pretty simple and it's design does not affect the warranty.

Also it is interesting to appreciate that the engineers who designed the PC would have surely made their home work and obtained the green light from the motorcycles manufacturers before investing in the production of it and obviously Dinojet would have not invested in it if they beleived their product was to be considered as "oultwawed" bike the big chiefs.

My dealer said "the fuelling (Kev) mod could be considered to void the warranty if they wanted it to but they would not do that". So I guess it is up to them at the end of the day, if you don't agree with their decision then I guess you have to take it up with Yamaha directly?

most manufacturers would say that any mod from standard would void the warranty, if you have a problem put it back to standard and deny everything!!!!!!
