I searched for an xt660.co.za and this was the google reply

Did you mean: xt660.com

Now guys I don't mind you branching out and open your own forum, in respect of the house here, I would suggest you stick with us, as you can see Google will always point here, and no matter where you are in the world you can always use this purpose designed forum for all your meetings and gatherings. I don't see the need to open new forums when you have the wealth of information that we offer here.

But do as you like, anyway, just don't advertise it here out of respect for those like me who works hard to keep this one in top shape... It's just an advice.

Captmoto.

Xt660.com has always been the mecca for XT information.
However, there is a lot of local South African XT riders that are on other SA forums.

I feel that SA can benefit from a XT only forum, but we know most of the techincal data is always available here. Owners in Europe always seem to want to experiment earlier.

As for google not seeing XT660, South Africa's Geo targetting still points to .com as we are still extremely young.

I liaise pretty closely with Yamaha Sa and I feel that the wider the spectrum we can offer blue riders the better support there is.

Cheers!

Well, if it is not a Yamaha SA initiative, why can't that forum not be incorperated into xt660.com? Just a thought, and i'll leave it to the "Guv'nors", not considering any financial implications off course.

I'd hate to see any jostling starting. This forum has only been kind to me. Tech wise, nothing will ever beat it, i am sure. I do share CaptMoto's sentiment on advertising another forum. I am pretty sure however, that it was not Stevh0's intentions to make any waves....

.....but it would be nice if we had a more active South African XT community. Gerhard Beukes is trying his best to get some life into it!

Thanks Gerhard for constantly trying!

For me, xt660.com was, and remains, my first love....
