Handle bar Viberation reducer

I fitted this to my GS1200, They will certainly cut down on the viberation you get through the handle bars. ( which I seem to be lucky in that I don't get any).

I took mine off the GS when I sold it, but don't need to fit them to the Tenere.

I haven't tried them but I'm thinking about some http://www.ridemx.co.uk/MotoCross/Sh...Top_Grips.html. The vibration seems to be less and less of a problem the more miles I put on.
Regards

The vibration really does drop off as I ride mine more too. Some of that is getting used to it but I hardly notice it below 90 odd now.

Downside is as it rides so much smoother my typical motorway speed is faster than it used to be as you are less aware the speed than originally (bike is 'smooth' up until about 6k rpm now - this is at 24k miles).

Do these work over heated grips?

Hi Bexman. I can confirm that they do work over heated grips (Oxford).
I have just refitted them to my Tenere, had to trim about half an inch off the length of them both, a small amount of washing up liquid on the inside of them (which will dry off in a day) 2 minute job literately, nice soft grips now.

I will post picture later

I also had them on my GS and have just come in from the garage after fitting them on my Tenere.... I fitted the small size for info using hairspray which will dry to leave them stuck on nicely

I used to get blisters on really long trips on the inside of the thumb but after using these didnt have any problems.Makes the grips slightly bigger but not much and alot more comfortable.

Spooky...... I was going to use hair spray but couldn't find any so use fairy washing up liquid, I can now wash my hands as I go along

I will try and do it tonight if I remember. They take a while to get use to with them making the grip bigger but you soon get use to it.
