I purchased a rear break hose for my 07X from HEL on August 2008 but unfortunately I had not the chance to fit this until a month ago.
Well... I had my X at the mechanic to fit new break pads and break fluid along with the new hose.
While going there to pick my bike, the mechanic said that the hose was 10cm shorter (about 4 inches). So he had to fit back the stock one.

I wrote an email to HEL -wondering- if they would suggest something as far as it had been a whole year since the purchase.
They replied instantly asking me to send the "short" hose back along with the invoice.
A few days later (that is today) I received a new --correct in length-- hose at no additional cost, not even postal expenses.

A BIG THANKS TO HEL PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS !!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

That is a very good story, I have always used HEL brake lines, their company is very professional and the quality is superb.

I knew they wouldn't let you down George which is why I suggested to write to them in full honesty.
