what he says.
My mates that have one all seem very happy with it. I got myself a cheapass Airoh that was on sale, but if I had a little more cash to spend it would have definitely been the Uvex.

i have carbon one. all my other helmets are made by hjc (carbon also).

uvex fits better than hjc. offcourse it depends your own head but to me it is better. especially cheek / cheekbone area.

and yes its light alltought hjcs are light but uvex is lighter.

i have used it mainly in road use alltought it is not real road helmet.

at the gate of argangel north russia last summer

Take a look at the Shoei Hornet DS, it around 100 cheaper than the X3, lighter and quieter.

Thing with lids is you need to try as many as you can, not all lids are comfortable on all heads!

Thanks for the info, got to try uvex now to see if it agrees with my bonce, also going to try the shoei that gulgo suggested, as he says all lids dont agree with all bonces. with my luck now I'll probably find they dont do them in my bighead size!!
