Pannier mounting rubbers!!!!!

halo evereebodeee,
I came back from a ride yesterday (yes still have the Ten woo hoo), and noticed the mounting rubber for the panniers at the rear peg was missing, all it remains is the metal bit and some glue remains (is that all that hold these on?).
Anyhoo, was wondering if anyone else has had this happen and can the rubbers be replaced on their own, as I phoned my local dealer and they recon that I need to buy the whole lot again!!!

Happened to me too......

I made a claim on warrenty, they shouldn't have fallen off etc etc. Yamaha agreed and sent me a new set.

You can get just the rubbers, they come as a pair - dunno the part number though.

When you do get them, they look the same, but they are ever so trapiziod (narrower at one end than the other - for the non-english readers), the fatter end goes to the rear of the bike.

I had the same issue. Although it doesn't state it anywhere I ordered up a set of replacement rubbers for the FJR luggage which can be bought separatly and they are identical to the Tenere parts.

I'll post up the part number this evening if I can remember where I've put them!

Al.
