Took one out for a test ride today:





Was very nice - felt a little bit surgy at a constant throttle at 40mph in 4th (I think..) and a bit light on the front end at 80mph (officer..), but grand acceleration in 2nd and 3rd, pretty comfortable and not too bad on the vibes either, in relation to the Dominator I used to have.

I got back on my Africa Twin and it was like a huge bus, all mushy and everything in the wrong place...

I may be buying - have to re-register the Africa Twin from the Isle of Man and then sell it first. The dealer says this actual bike is coming off demo in November, so either I wait for that or buy now...

Yeah, Jase, bought it off Cupid - I prefer it to my HG jacket as it vents so much better than that with built-in waterproof liner. I have a bright yellow overjacket for if it rains when wearing this one

I have a couple weeks to think about it anyway - I was just glad I could get the ball of my foot down - short inside leg alleviated by excess padding around the middle compressing the suspension

I had it for about 40 minutes over country lanes, dual carriageway and through town (the best route I could think of to test it out) so had it up to 80-ish max speed.
