Mountings for Hella Micro De Lights on the X

With winter fast approaching I've bought myself a pair of Hella Micro DE lights. Anyone got any ideas regarding mounting location? I was thinking of mounting them inside the radiator shrouds, but when they arrived, I noticed they aint that micro...

I also have these lights to fit (when my back back get better!!) Search for a forum member called gas up lets go as he does a great pair of brackets for any type of AUX light. I have a set and i am very happy with them.

i think they will only work for the Tenere where as i think the lastword has an X

Ive a set of micro lights from halfords(not sure of the proper type but 1.5inch wide by about 1 inch tall)

I just cable tied them to the hand guards and then placed a switch just above the LCD unit. Works fine for me. I wouldnt want to hard connect them to the bars because if i do fall off then the lights will just snap off.

Anyone willing to doante me an X or R for a day ??

I'll happily fabricate some brackets to fit, but I'd need access to a bike for a few hours to get a pattern together.

Anyone 'up north' fancy it? might be a set of brackets in it for you ??

Or, if someone can give me the dimensions, we could do it by post............ maybe......

Here is the progress so far. I made a couple of brackets to mount the lights to the hanndlebar crossbrace fixings. One light is on and I've wired via a switch so that it's either permanently off, or on with low beam, or on with high beam. The second one will be wired to be on with high beam only.

I've also got an HID kit for them but the bulb clips in the light-body don't work on the HID bulbs. I might just lock-wire them on...

I've got some pics, but for some reason I'm no longer allowed to post attachements....
