Need some help in Singapore

Dear Fellow XT Enthusiasts

I've just imported a Tenere into Singapore from London. Unfortunately the shop who sold it to me left out some bits and pieces. They did ship them to me but I'm struggling with the nuts & bolts that hold the windshield on.

The is what they sent me - see photo. Grommets fit ok but the rubber covered nuts seem to be too big to go through the grommets.

There are no other Tenere's in Singapore that I know of to see how this all fits together.

Unfortunately the shop where I bought the bike is not very helpful post sales!

Grateful if anyone can clarify on this - it would be nice to get the shield in place!

many thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

press the rubber covered nuts from the front though the holes in the lamp mask.
Place the windscreen in front and use the plasic screws to fix the screen.
At my Ten these grommets arent used at the windscreen.
Only the screws and the nuts.

If you send me a PM with you email, I will send you a some drawings.

Regards
ToKi

Well done for importing the Ten. In fact 5 units arrived in Singapore more than a month back. Now awaiting approval on the road. I am sure you saved a couple of thousands with your own import. See you on the road soon!
