            TKC 80 - Tyre pressure

For road sections what tyre pressures are suitable for a TKC'80's ?

It feels to me like the 2 bar mark is a tad to hard |

allo mate, i have been advised (by a certain lady who knows) that 30psi is the ideal pressure. i have found it to be spot on. i did run them slightly softer (25f 28r ) during sat afternoon/sunday in the lakes and found that to be great in the wet but a wee bit soft on dry roads.

if useing on the road I run them at 28 psi front and 26 in the rear.

I do 30psi front and 33 back. Good for dry road but a tad slippery for wet, we are talking onroad here. Notice the front loses air more often than the back. Don't know why, but I could usually tell by riding and go pump it up.

I know nuffink... but as Pete says, I've found that 30psi seems to work well on road, and down to 25psi when off road and/or the monsoon conditions we had at the weekend x

Obviously if you are a big fella (like Pete) or carrying luggage, you may want correspondingly more in the rear to compensate, as he did... xxx |

Sorry, I heard yesterday; the compound of this tyre is recently changed and it's wearing faster and when wet it's loosing grip. Is this true?
