DNA kit

I have read all the posts (I think) and have located a DNA dealer near me but has anyone fitted the kit to their bike yet ?
Would be interested in any feedback.
Having had 6 WR enduro bikes many of the guys drilled holes in the airbox and removed the snorkel to improve fueling etc.

On the Z the filter is on the inlet to the airbox, not the outlet to the engine as most other bikes are. Because of this the integrity of the box cannot be compromised or unfiltered air will enter the engine. There is a thread here somewhere about people reducing or removing the snorkel but remember it also serves to keep water out. (I know JMo has reduced hers). But in reality, unless you want to competely re-design your air box theres nothing you can do with it.

Just my 2 cents....OGR

One of the reason why no one has yet tried this kit is perhaps the fact that they are hard to get and I can't find a stockist in UK as yet. So ideally for the time being they are only available directly from DNA Filters Ltd. and hopefully through us in the near future.

breathe freely!

I don't have the DNA kit, but I do have a K&N filter fitted, with the snorkel removed from the airbox, so the airbox lid is the same as the DNA one.
I think it's a worthwhile mod, as the motor does feel more "snappy", but I haven't had the time to get it on a dyno and check it out. My next mod when time allows will be a PCIII and a dyno session!

I have the kit DNA filter and Stage 2 cover.(not fitted)
I am still running in although I have fitted my leovince cans I have not fitted DNA yet as fuelling need to be adjusted. I have the PCIII to fit also.

My plans are get first service out of the way then book my bike onto dyno then fit PCIII on zero map and drive to the dyno. I will fit the air filter at the dyno centre.

Reason I am doing it this way is it says explicitly on DNA fitting instructions to get fuelling adjusted as soon as fitted or damage may occur.

I have spoke to Dino from DNA about a PCIII map but has not done a dyno run with Ten and PCIII fitted as far as I can make out. Or no map available at this time at least.
