Question Good or not good for 97% on road.

Dunlop DOT 2006 K 750

130/80 -17 TT 65S �29.60 not with fitting! My 1st Tyre for a bike so I don’t have much knowledge on what to get? at the moment I have Michelin Sirac on it but this at end of life soon with 1500 miles done! Is this good?

Never used them but if your doing mostly road miles then a more road basis tyre would be best for road miles as this would wear alot quicker and you would end up buying another tyre (maybe 2) before a more road basis one was done.

Have a look at the Metz Tourance, Avon Dizs (cant member name) etc

I have 10k miles on my Siracs, almost all motorway though. You must have a very heavy right hand if you've chewed through them in only 1500 miles.

My replacement will be Bridestone BT45 for my Tenere. I'm not certain they'll give me any better life but as they are a normal road tyre and not knobbly I'm hoping for a smoother, quieter ride on them and less cupping on the front (which makes the bike quite uncomfortable in a crosswind)
