Kurviger App

Hi All

https://kurviger.de/en

i'm sure some of you already know about this app/web site, i've been using it recently and i think its fantastic.

you can use the website to plan a detailed route, choosing the kind of roads you want to travel on, i tend to opt for the most curvy routes which take me down some proper back lanes, roads that i didnt even know existed, even in my own back yard.

I found its best to plan in relatively short stages and set intermeadiate points to get it to plan a sensible route. With a bit of effort you could plan an entire european tour..

if you just want to do a mystery round trip from your current location, it'll do that too

there are loads of export options and support for garmin and senic navigation tools

there seems to supprt for many countries, with offline maps available too

in mainland europe, it'll even route you off-road if you want to.

the app on the phone is great, i like the fact you can detour off the planned route and it doesnt freak out and try and route you back to your last way point, once you get back on route, it just carries on, no fuss.

well worth checking out and the android app is only a tenner
