109000 kms

Bought the R on 105000kms. Had a very tight budget and got the bike for a reasonable OK price. The motor is still running smoothly and no oil leaks. Do have a bit of a cluck when gears are changed when warm. The drive train was toast and the sprocket carrier bearing housing had a 3mm play. Had that welded up and replaced all 3 bearings. There is still a very slight play in the wheel due to the shaft being worn. I modifiEd the cush drive rubbers with a tube and replaced the chain.

The font wheel has some loose spokes, a dent and a crack. I am going to remove it this weekend and find someone that can repair it. Most of the spokes are rusted and cannot be tightened. Have applied some oil in the meantime to try and free them up. Cannot wait till this is done then the bike will ready to stretch it's legs here in Africa.

I must thank everyone in this forum for their contributions and advise. I have found the fueling topics very helpfull and this has improved the bike so much with a Ebc filter. I so want to get my hands on Kevs fuel controller but this would have to wait as the price is insane due to our weak currency.
