Havent got a tenere but helmets do make alot of difference, i took my old Arai condor helmet out for a spin the other day and noticed a big difference in noise compared to my current shoei Raid 2.
Also you might wanna look into getting a chin skirt (no not a beard
), its a collar type thing that goes round the bottom of your helmet and stops the wind getting in under your helmet which is one of the main reasons for wind noise.
That there and if you dont already wear them, ear plugs.
