Had same issue with my helmet but pressure was on my forehead. Taking the helmit off after a ride was usually a joke, have a red dot on my forehead, all the traffic in the area came to standstill looking like robot.

I get that sometimes. But I usually take it as a friendly reminder that my hair is getting too long at the back and needs cutting! (I kid you not)
