I've done the Route Napoleon several times, it's a great road to ride, much cornering and beautiful mountain roads. If you got the time, also try the Gorges du Verdon, even more beautiful scenery and ridin'! On camping I can't help you out, but for hotels there's a lot of choice, from cheap to more expensive.
