Since you asked  I did a straight swap for a very low mileage Kawasaki ER6-N. Not quite as much fun in the very windy roads, but I have made no mods and it is a different world for vibration. Seating position is good and with the narrow bars, lane splitting is like riding a scooter. But most of all when I went to swap it, some 150km away. When I got there my hand was in agony. On the ride back it was not even numb. I do not regret my time with my XTX, but for people like me who only had mild carpal tunnel syndrome
an XTX is a quick way to visit a surgeon.
