thumb's up for Van Meel Motoren, Made Holland

Hey, y'all! I'd like to give a big thumbs up for my dealer, Van Meel Motoren in Made, Holland. Nice, friendly, helpful, honest and professional people and most of them are offroad-minded(they ride themselves, the owner and his chief mechanic even rode the Heroes Legend last year, on two prepped WR's). They're a Yamaha Exclusive Dealership, so that gives them all the benefits connected to that. The owner, Corn van Meel, arranged a testride on the new Tenere for me, may '08: an employee of YamahaNL was breakin'in a new Tenere and made a stop in Made and let me take it for a testride. Smart, I was so impressed I instantly ordered one right after the ride! At that point there weren't any Tenere's available, so I was lucky! Just an example of the service.

Another example: I got the official Service Manual and the Parts Catalogue, which aren't available as yet, certainly not for use outside the Yamaha workshops. Just asked for them and they just made a copy of both, plus the Owner's Manual in Dutch(I got a French, German, English and a Spanish copy with the delivery of the bike!), that easy!

As for servicing: they do a tidy job and if it takes too long, I always get a replacement bike(I rode a Fazer, a TDM, XT/R and X, an FJR).

Some time ago, I saw a book on the history of the XT, originally in French, but also available in English, which was hard to get. They got hold of an English copy and gave it to me, for free! How's that?

As you can read here, I'm very happy with my dealer and I can highly recommend them to everyone!
Greetz, Hans.
