My number plate cracked at about 1,000 miles, and although it's still there at 3,500, I wouldn't put money on that reservoir lasting long. The trouble with the Tenere is there's no space under the seat, so I suppose you don't have a choice... but I still think the vibes will kill it. Let us know how it goes over the next few thousand miles?
