Depending on what type of off roading your doing i would say the TKC80's will handle it ok. I bought a set in easter when i went off roading in wales. I think the rear lasted around 3k miles or so but i did have to travel all the way from northern ireland to wales so alot of miles on the middle of the tyre. Fronts still fine and took it off as might do some more off roading again on my year out on uni

As for price i think thats a bit steep i think got mine from MandP.co.uk and i think they cost �110 all in to Norn Ireland
As for the Avons havent tried them yet but bought a set off Jasxt and have them waiting in the garage
